An aramid reinforced skirt for the advanced whitewater paddler. If you’re looking for a skirt for big water, advanced play or creeking, this is your best bet. Multiple panels create a tight, sag-free deck that is still easy to put on and off. Built to stand up to the wear and tear of lots of days on the water, boat over boat rescues, and just about whatever else you throw at it. A machine molded rubber rand makes for a dry seal that actually breaks in to the shape and size of your cockpit. The Play is built to interface with the Level Six Play Bladder, an inflatable air chamber that attaches to the underside of your skirt for extra volume or to prevent implosion.
Features:
- Natural rubber rand system for a tight, dry fit that forms to your boat
- 3mm neoprene with Diamond Grid finish for increased durability and versatile fit
- Reinforcement all around the lip of the cockpit
- Easy to put on and take off thanks to the almost limitless stretch of the rubber rand and big moulded plastic and webbing grab loop
- Full neoprene tunnel with screened in sizing tag for choosing the right skirt at a glance.
- Great implosion resistance on its own, but thanks to stretch loop Velcro laminated to the underside of the skirt, it mates seamlessly with our inflatable Play bladder to add that extra ‘pop’ and big water security.
Construction:
- 3mm. Diamond Grid finish neoprene
- 3mm. Armortex Kevlar cockpit reinforcement
- Laminated loop Velcro under main deck for attachment of Play Bladder
- All seams are glued, sewn, and taped
- Natural rubber rand
Tunnel:
- Small (28”- 31”)
- Medium (31”- 34”)
- Large (34” – 36”)
- X-Large (37” – 40”)
Cockpit Sizing:
Our skirts have an almost universal fit, adapting to most medium to large size keyholes. Unless your cockpit is specifically small or extra large, this skirt should fit.
Minimum Size: 30” long with 16” wide cockpit
Maximum Size: 35” long with 19” wide cockpit
Please note: that measurements are taken from the inside of the cockpit combing. Wetting the rim of the cockpit prior to putting on a new skirt will help it stretch evenly. The skirt may be tight at first but will break in after a few uses to a snug, ideal fit.
