An engineering marvel, the Katana features a top-end wood core, vertical sidewall construction with two sheets of titanium, just like the Mantra. Although it has a 110 mm waist, the most unique feature on the Katana is the Powder Channel. Although you might have seen this on our Völkl snowboards, it’s completely unique in the ski market. The Powder Channel allows us to provide the ride quality of a swallow-tail design while still allowing the skier to ride switch. The Katana comes without any camber for easy smearing in powder. Some other unique details are the Völkl logo edge anchors and honeycomb sidewall graphics with custom printing.
