Same construction as the Mantra, the 2010 Volkl Katana is wider and has an early rise tip for pure powder fun. At 111mm under foot, the re-designed Volkl Katana is a powder skiers dream. The early rise tip and flat camber help keep the ski on top of the soft stuff - as if 111mm at the waist was not enough. This ski can do it all, from 3-day mank to first chair epic's to cruising groomers. You won't catch Jeremy Bloom in the bumps, but with these boards locked and loaded you'll be kicking his ass on epic powder days. This is going to be one of the best skis of the year.
